Please explain what you do for a living in 20 words or fewer.

I manage the engineering design, implementation, and operations of Plug Power’s new and unique hydrogen infrastructure systems.

Tell us one of the most extraordinary/unusual experiences you’ve had in your career.

This is this first year of my career since I graduated with my bachelors in 2017. The past year has been extraordinary and unusual. I travelled to the southern end of the Mojave Desert for several weeks for my first solo field engineering task: to turn on a new hydrogen infrastructure site using steam-reformation as on-site hydrogen generation. The task was very difficult, but the total immersion into the desert and the hard work brought me deep learning and growth.

If you could go back in time, what year would you travel to? Why?

I’d travel to Paris in 1889 for the World Exposition, the inauguration of the Eiffel tower, and the magnificent avant-garde art exhibitions.

If you were a superhero, what powers would you have?

The power to remove worry or stress and replace it with joy. Joy is underrated.

Aside from necessities, what one thing could you not go a day without?

My beautiful, bright orange car!

If you could live anywhere, where would it be?

I would equally split my time between bustling Paris and quiet, natural, southern Argentina. The best of both worlds.

Hannah is an important part of the Plug Power team working to change the way the world moves!

#InfiniteDrive

This is PowerSpot, Plug Power’s monthly blog series where we highlight the Plug Power employees who inspire us and, we hope, will inspire you, too.
