Jose Luis Crespo, Plug Power\u2019s VP Global Sales, has been named to the 2018\u00a0Food Logistics\u2019<\/em>\u00a0Champions: Rock Stars of the Supply Chain\u00a0award for leading the charge in building the global market for hydrogen fuel cells.\u00a0 The\u00a0award\u00a0recognizes influential individuals in the food logistics industry whose achievements, hard work, and vision have shaped and attained milestones in safety, efficiency, productivity and innovation through the global food supply chain.<\/p>\n Jose Luis Crespo, in his role as VP Global Sales, has led Plug Power\u2019s efforts to increase operational efficiency and corporate sustainability for several leading food logistics companies in the U.S. and Europe, including Walmart, Amazon, Whole Foods P&G, Carrefour and Asko.\u00a0 Traditionally, food logistics distribution warehouses have used battery-powered forklifts.\u00a0 Plug Power fuel cells are a drop-in replacement for batteries in existing material handling fleets.<\/p>\n
